wollabille 12
Dear community I need some help on a topic that i will escalate later on with more details when i have done all my tests. But to begin with i will ask about how to create logs? Is there some one that can give me guide for dummies? My problem is that i have a really random (or so it seems) problem with the sound glitching in some series on my system. And i know its either kodi or emby thats the culprit because if i stop it playing and try to play the same file via VLC then it wont do it. But before i do my extensive post with what i have tried etc, i know you will ask for a log. And thats what this post is about. So i hope some one can help. And also how does logs work? I mean the box (a Intel NUC) is always on, is only rebooted 1 or 2 times a week for updates or so. But i mean since its so randomly if i send a log, will it then have recorded it to the log? Just to clarify. I am using latest Kodi v 18 and kodi v 4.0.5 i think its the latest version (sitting at work so dont know if it has updated to something never). Angelblue05 4130
@@wollabille Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I missed your post. Here is how to create and retrieve your logs. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/plugin.video.emby/wiki/how-to-report-an-issue However this is not something specific to Emby for Kodi, since it doesn't actually play the content, Kodi does. It just tells Kodi to play x if you are using add-on playback mode. If you can confirm with your log that you are either direct playing over network, or http then you'll know if it's Kodi or your server.
