This is due to a change on the server I haven't been able to work around yet.

Basically, an item needs to have an image in order for CoverArt to be called.  CA used to automatically provide one so that it would work on those items but that isn't working right now.

So, just supply an image for that top level folder (any image) using the web editor and CA will then run and treat them.

there is an image (the boxset clapperboard icon) assigned as you can see

Ah, sorry, you're right.  That is a new entity and must be something CA doesn't recognize.

If you select a treatment style for "Folder" does that one get it?

Okay, the problem isn't that it is a new type.  CoverArt is actually seeing and treating the image.  However, there is logic in there that ignores BoxSets when creating a multi-image for a parent.  This is because a multi-image of multi-images typically looks pretty bad (imagine a fan of fanned images).

Since the Collections item contains nothing but Box Sets, it isn't finding anything to create a good-looking multi-image from.  This can possibly be improved upon in the future but that is how it works right now.
