Samsung TV issues

I have a UN55KS8000 running 1.0.53 of the Emby Samsung app. I just installed Emby and am in the process of evaluating it. I am trying to watch live tv, and seeing weird behaviors. I am unable to time shift live tv. The FF/RWD and skip buttons do not seem to do anything. I do not see any progress or a time indicator dot in what looks to be the timeline bar. I don't see a way to bring up the fast channel changing with in video controls that appears on the page advertising the Samsung app. On the guide, when hovering over a show, it appears to try and bring up a hover at the bottom with additional information, but the transparency is hard to read and it is part way cut off.

 

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

Sounds like these are known issues. Is there somewhere that has the list of known issues? 

 

Is there a recommended client device for TV viewing that has the best experience for the Live TV / DVR features?

Other than the community here not really. Our Android TV app is a little bit ahead in terms of live TV.
