CPU DualCore Intel Pentium G2120T

DS3617xs 6.1.7-15284 Update3

There is no problem with EmbyServer 4.0.1.0-1, but it cannot be started after upgrading 4.0.2.0-1. Any version installed after uninstallation will not start.

Hello @@fyngd

We have seen some 'quirky' behaviour with Package Center on XPEnology systems; is this still the case after restarting your NAS?

Are you using a processor specific package for your XPEnology system : https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-Custom-Package-Architectures-for-XPEnology

The 4.0.2.0-1 is a maintenance release, there's nothing in there that's going to cause it to not start.

Which installation package should G2120T choose?

Hello @@fyngd

Can you run the Diagnostics and Send Logs Utility, then post the reference back here :-

https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-How-to-Run-Diagnostics

https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-How-to-Send-us-Support-Logs

I'll take a look and see what's going on and what's causing the mismatch.

Hello @@fyngd

Thanks for the logs, I can see what the issue is, but don't have an explanation/fix yet.

However, we can workaround it.

If you have an existing configuration you'd like to preserve, rather than re-install, let me know and I'll give you instructions.

Hello @@fyngd

I do know what this is, now I've looked again - it's due to the G2120T not supporting AES/AVX instructions.

Your CPU : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss ht tm pbe syscall nx rdtscp lm constant_tsc arch_perfmon pebs bts rep_good nopl xtopology nonstop_tsc aperfmperf eagerfpu pni pclmulqdq dtes64 monitor ds_cpl vmx est tm2 ssse3 cx16 xtpr pdcm pcid sse4_1 sse4_2 popcnt tsc_deadline_timer xsave lahf_lm arat epb xsaveopt pln pts dtherm tpr_shadow vnmi flexpriority ept vpid fsgsbase smep erms

SSSE3 | ssse3
SSE4.1 | sse4_1

POPCNT | popcnt
AVX | -

Let me know on the question above, and I can point you in the right direction.
