Nisten 15
For a particular android device, It does not auto play the next episode even though its enabled to do so via the settings. In-app log(s) sent: Time: Approx. 702pm cst User: Sonja Issue: After a single episode playback is finished, the next one doesn't play 1st instance: approx. 642pm cst Series Title: Star Wars: The Clone Wars Episode Title: Duel of the Droids - The next episode "Bombad Jedi" should've have started playing immediately afterwards but instead it took me to the episode detail screen of "Duel of the Droids" 2nd instance: approx. 702pm cst Series Title: Same as 1st instance Episode Title: Bombad Jedi - The next episode "Cloak of Darkness" should've have started playing immediately afterwards but instead it took me to the episode detail screen of "Bombad Jedi" Currently, I have to go back to the main screen and click the next episode in the cartoon series under "Next Up TV" after each single episode's playback is finished in order to play the next episode; However this issue only happens on this particular device 2/12 EDIT: Happens on another android TV device, nvidia shield (Removed Device Specific Header) server log.txt Edited February 12, 2019 by Nisten
ebr 14904
I'm rather baffled how this could be different on a different device - other than the option not being set. That playback was too long for me to see the beginning - where it would have queued up the next episodes. Can you try playing one of these and, notice if there is a "next item" button on the OSD. If not, stop it and then send the log. Thanks.
Nisten 15
There's no "next item" button Log sent approx. 915pm cst -Same user -Same series -Episode Title: Duel of the Droids server log 2.txt server log 3.txt
ebr 14904
It is looking and only finding a single episode. You are saying this exact same item played from the exact same server and user queues up more episodes in the same app on a different device? Other episodes from other series? Nisten 15
Yes & No, Initially started playback on a Roku TV yesterday which auto played the next episode as expected. Today, I tried playing back the affected series/episodes on the nVidia shield and ran into the same problem; both Android TV apps are enabled to play the next episode automatically yet doesn't do so but it will show the next episode under "Next Up TV". Also tried playing back another series yet the same thing happens Edited February 12, 2019 by Nisten
ebr 14904
The Roku is not the Android TV app so we're dealing with different apps here. Can you please show me a screen shot of your playback settings in the app that isn't doing this.
Nisten 15
Edited the OP as the same thing is happening on the nvidia Shield also so I don't have an Android tv box where this issue isn't happening. Unless you want a screenshot of the settings of a non-android tv app that's not experiencing the issue Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk Edited February 14, 2019 by Nisten
Nisten 15
This is still occurring; The only media that plays sequentially are recorded TV series
ebr 14904
Hi. The current beta of the app will fix this and should be released soon. The issue only occurs if you do not have season folders for your episodes.
