Hi @@zelphar, I've pushed an update to the plugin to resolve this. Thanks for reporting.

Thanks for updating.

Now it’s not loading anymore.

But after I saved my setting.

The value of wait time to prevent ip ban is not saved.

Yea i don't quite get what's going on there. Please be aware, the anime plugin is a community contribution and it certainly appears to have some defects. You could always edit the config file manually. Hopefully one of the contributors can help improve the config screen soon. Thanks.

KMBanana

I stopped trying to use the anime plugin a while ago, tvdb has anime shows so I just treat them the same as ordinary tv shows.

Only a couple of tiny issues really, thinks like some shows anidb considers to be unique shows are treated as a seasons within the same series by tvdb.

Also has trouble identifying some long running 100+ episode shows that don't use seasons, but you can work around this by setting the metadata setting "Display order" to "Absolute" for those shows.

Yea i think that is the practical advice. I think people see the plugin titled "Anime" and think they need it for Anime content, when they may not.

I think the plugin has 3-4 metadata provider options embedded. I'm actually thinking of splitting it into separate plugins for each metadata provider. That way for example the people who install Proxer, will probably already know what it is and have a reason for installing it.
