Two days ago I've been surfing this forums and came across a thread that had a vu+ plugin attached. I can't manage to find that thread again but in the end it doesn't matter.

The plugin runs on my VU+ SoloSE but when it syncs the database it runs out of space.

I attached a USB and need some advice how to tell the plugin to write to it.

the sattelite receiver runs out of memory

Are you sure Emby is the place to get help for that? I really have no idea about this, sorry.

Quite sure.

The scraper starts and in between it aborts - I don't have the error message at hands.

Can you tell me the path where the emby plugin stores its data?

What Emby plugin are you referring to? Vu+? Because vu+ does not have a scraper. You'll need to get us more information, including whatever error message you saw. Thanks.

On the plugin page, it is shown that @@CompoUK maintains the plugin. I also own a Vu but don't use the plugin, so I am bit confused why it need to write on the Vu, doesn't make sense for me. But obviously I don't get what the plugin does ;)

There is btw a thread for this plugin: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/18999-devvu-enigma2-live-tv-plugin/

OK, sorry for the confusion guys.

@Coxeroni: This is not the live-tv plugin!

I have linked the source already in a previous post. It's says "emby for kodi vu+ edition" whatever that means.

@@Angelblue05 posted the binary, so that's the reason why you were pinged.

I also don't know how the plugin works in detail, but from my understanding, it will sync the library on the emby server to some

local folder (thumnails and things). Is this not true? I suppose that will take some space!?

Find attached the kodi.log from the VU.

At some point it says:

OperationalError: database or disk is full

If I could mount

00:22:40 T:1973850112  NOTICE: special://home/ is mapped to: /home/root/.kodi

to /media/usb instead there should be enough space.

root@SoloSE:~/.kodi# df -T
Filesystem           Type       1K-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on
ubi0:rootfs          ubifs         429728    429380       348 100% /
devtmpfs             devtmpfs      286340         0    286340   0% /dev
tmpfs                tmpfs         286468       352    286116   0% /run
tmpfs                tmpfs         286468       256    286212   0% /var/volatile
/dev/sda1            ext2         7831128    279636   7473156   4% /media/usb

Finally the error pic displayed.

Would be nice to have this kodi client running.

Thanks for your support.

No, sorry. Upgrade to Kodi Krypton or Leia. If you want to use this outdated version then remain on server 3.5. Maybe in the future I'll backport something to Jarvis.

Unfortunately the Kodi running on the VU+ is a specialized build that can't be upgraded.

I have to wait until there comes an update from VTi.

Do you think it's more than a matter of available space?

Then your only option is to downgrade server back to 3.5. Sorry, there were too many breaking changes with 4.0, the old add-on is completely broken with it.
