bls_fanatic 3 Posted February 5, 2019 Share Posted February 5, 2019 Hello, Would it be possible to change the Album display in an Artist page in Emby Theater to display all albums stacked vertically just like Emby for Samsung Smart TV does? When an artist has a lot of albums such as Various Artists for example (more than 100) it is sometimes long to scroll right on the single line to find the album we want to listen to. Here are screenshots of the same artist page from Emby for Samsung TV and Emby Theater (full Windows client). As of now, ET displays albums the same way as the Emby web app which could alos be changed to display them vertically but is not as big of a deal for me since ET is my principal source for listenting to music. Thanks On another note I also find the green square around the current selection in Emby for Samsung TV easier to figure out what is selected than the tile resizing we see in ET. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It looks unsettling especially when there are no additional albums off the edge to scroll to. It just looks like shoddy sizing. It feels wierd when I expand the size of the screen, all the icons just get bigger instead of fitting better of showing more albums. Maybe this was designed for people sitting far away on a couch instead of working at their PC trying to queue up some music? Anyway, I'm new. Just downloaded the app and can't do anything but navigate as I'm trying to decide if this is worth trying a non-refundable trial. After being burned by a lifetime Plex pass purchase, I am quite gunshy. But I thought I'd share my first impression of the only thing I can do in this app: navigate. If this is Emby Theater then yes, default layouts are for TV usage. But if you explore the settings in the app, you can change the display mode the desktop. I meant that the original poster was able to post thumbnails instead of putting a giant image directly in the post, but I couldn't find a thumbnail button. Is the trick to use the attachment button instead of the insert image button? I'll try to answer my own question by attaching an image and seeing what happens.
