alphabanks 0 Posted February 4, 2019 Share Posted February 4, 2019 I would like to ask how are all of you that run the Emby for Kodi keepng your library in sync? This weekend I moved over to Kodi v18.0 Leia I'm also running Emby for Kodi plugin 4.0.4. My Emby server is also running the latest code with the Kodi Companion. My problem is sync times I have a large library with over 1300 items. It would seem that the Kodi Companion would only sync updated changes however it synced all 1300 items which takes entirely too long this has happened multiple times. Also we don't leave Kodi running all the time we start Kodi when we are about to use it. The funny thing is I had this running on Krypton for over a year. All I remember was it took a long time for the first sync after that we would start up Kodi it would go and grab the nightly changes 10 to 30 seconds tops. I never used any plugins on the server side. Can't remeber how I set it up I wonder if I was using native kodi to check for updates at startup.
