don.alcombright 13
What is best to provide to figure out what I am missing about getting my Apple TV to use a PIN instead of my long password to login? I am sure I am doing something wrong, but scouring around here I cant seem to find anything that stands out. My user account has a password and pin set. My server and Apple TV are both on the same network. When I login, if asked its always a password, not the pin.
Luke 36997
Hi, have you tried entering the pin code into the password prompt?
don.alcombright 13
Hi, have you tried entering the pin code into the password prompt? Never mind, I got it working. I logged off my server completely and back in and it’s accepting the pin on the display. Any plans to use just the number pad for this feature? Any plans to use just the number pad for this feature? Even though we call it a PIN, it can be alpha. Also, either password will work.
