However I have come from a Plex environment, and have the Hauppauge 1590 USB tuner (located in Australia). I don't really want to throw out a perfectly good tuner, and buy a HDHR for Live TV support. TVHeadEnd is not an ideal solution for me, 'cause I I'm not keen root my ShieldTV, because I don't wanna wipe my HDD (which I believe happens when you unlock as part of the process) From an Emby perspective in terms of capturing disillusioned Plex users, I would have thought support for the Hauppauge 1590 tuner would be one of the first cabs off the rank, so to speak..
