Gamebrowser Unable to open games on laptop on internal network (check last post)

VPN is likely the only real method worth exploring that will allow you to match the mapping you've got on your server at the client location and not be a file emulation but a true network mapped drive.

That's all going to be environment dictated.

I'd first check to see if you can setup VPNs in your router.  If so your half way there.

For example I use an ASUS router that has VPN ability built in for both server and client.

I've got the stock Comcast router I plan to replace with my own Netgear, my holdup is the phone line goes through it as well

What version of ET are you using?  I believe only the Desktop version has external player.

@Happy2Play I'm using the widows version (1.1.359.0). I downloaded it from the windows store.

The app store can not use external players as it is all Windows dependent.  You need the desktop version.

My persona guess is that gaming has went as far as it can go for now so will be limited to what it currently supports.
It's more a novelty item than anything else IMHO.

Emby's mission is to be a great streaming platform and the gaming stuff doesn't really fit that bill so well.
Again that's just my personal thinking.
