Refresh Guide task

For some reason I have a "Refresh Guide" task running every 4 hours - but this task does not exist on the Scheduled Tasks page, so I can't change that schedule.

 

I don't even have Live TV installed - so why is that task even running at all?

"Refresh Guide" and "Convert media" are still running on a schedule - can we PLEASE prevent these unwanted tasks from ever running. 

 

I do not have any Live TV plugin installed and I assume "Convert media" has something to do with Sync - which is something else that I don't use.

 

These tasks run every few hours and seem to be responsible for keeping my NUC awake.

 

I just found "Convert media" in the "Scheduled Tasks" section - so I've disabled that one, but why doesn't "Refresh Guide" appear under Scheduled Tasks? I'd like to disable that as well.

I have the same issue. Refresh guide running with no LiveTV installed.

Please let me know if you need the complete log.

 

I will installed the LiveTV plugin's and see if I can remove the task and then remove the LiveTV plugin.

Solved.

 

Installed ServerWMC, remnoved all Guide tasks. 

Uninstalled ServerWMC, and Yes task isn't running anymore (was first set to run at startup)..
