Video Playback Fails on Some files - they play fine Direct via file share

About 10% of my rips (various encoding types, resolution, etc) fail to play when using the Emby plugin. When I use Kodi's file manager and connect directly to the share/file, they play perfectly.

... I suspect I'm not the only one seeing this problem?

Attached a Kodi Debug log (that's what I had, didnt know debug was on. Can post regular log if needed).

Then yes please, and also a webclient screenshot of the media info for an item that doesn't play in Kodi. Thank you.

thought the log was posted in #1... looks like it didn't save. Attached on Post #1.  Most problems have been TV Shows encoding, a few movies also. They are all encoded, not BR files.

Thanks for providing your log. Can you repair your video libraries, that should resolve your issue. Launch emby for kodi > manage libraries > repair libraries, repair your movies, shows, music video libraries if you have them.

Keep me posted.

Edit: Update to 3.1.46 to ensure everything works for playback.

Those videos just entered the library last week. Why would there be something wrong with the library... Most videos work fine. None of the videos change, or move, they are always in the same location.

Doesn't the plugin update itself? I saw a notice when kodi started that a emby patch was applied.

Emby server on. 84

Because we are still on Beta and work on it day by day. Please follow the instructions and repair the databases to apply sync changes that were made by us.

I tried repair... that did not help.

Then I reset the ENTIRE Kodi database... no help.

Oddly, shows I played Last Night no longer play today. Literally less than 20 hour later, the same exact, unchanged, shows do not play with Emby Kodi but they play on the Roku Emby and they play with Kodi over direct SMB.

There is a serious bug in Emby Kodi happening. There is no other reasonable explanation.

I've attached the Kodi log from last night and today

Counterpart (same files) will not play today, but did yesterday. Also today, Nova failed to play using Emby Kodi but played via NFS directly.  Nova also played yesterday on Roku Emby.
