Emby 4 update not showing up in Package Center

I wanted to upgrade to the new version of Emby Server but can't see to make it happen. Whenever I go into the Package Center, Emby Server says its running 3.5.3.0 and doesn't say there's an update available.

 

I've made sure the certificate is listed and that packages are accepted from "Synology and Trusted Sources."  Am I doing something wrong here?

 

I'm currently running...

Emby Server version 3.5.3.0

on a Synology DS211

DSM version 6.2.1-23824 Update 4

I had this issue on my ds415+ turned out to be that one of the packege sources I had added was not working, I started to suspect this because I couldnt load community addons.

I removed some old sources and then The new emby version popped up.

I'm also having the problem where I get an endless loading screen when trying to access the Emby Plugin Catalog, so maybe it's the same issue as what you were dealing with.

 

Currently I only have the following listed as a package source:

https://synology.emby.media/

 

Is there an alt you're using that you've had more success with?

I had 4 package sources (not related to the emby package source) removed all but the synology community and the emby package source, then the ”endless loading screen” dissapered and version 4 popped up as an update.

If you haven't already spotted it, you should find the Emby Server 4.0 is now available in Package Center for your platform.
