sonicattack 1
Hi trouble with the instal of 4.0.0.2. I stopped the server and l tried to install over 3.5.3, the install seemed to go ok, but when i tried to launch into browser port 8096 I got :- localhost refused to connect. Search Google for localhost 8096 web index ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED So uninstalled, and tried a fresh install of 4.0.0.2. Again all seemed to go ok, rebooted and tried the browser, with same result as above. I rebooted the system after each install. i'm on Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS which is fully up to date. I went back and did a fresh install of 3.5.3 and all went ok, went into emby setup with no issues. Any ideas appreciated
PenkethBoy 2063
what url we you using to connect to the server?
tdiguy 96
How long did you give it to come up after the installs? initial startup for 4.0.0.2 is a bit longer than the other versions of emby. I am guessing here but i believe if you give it 1 full minute it will either be ready or at least give a message that it is loading. After that first initial start up it is much better for responsiveness.
