jackelofnar 1
Hi, I can seem to get Anime description to show in English. Normal Movies and TV series are fine so i think it's the plugin. Emby: Version 3.5.3.0 Anime plugin: Version 1.2.8.0 Could some one give me some advise?
Luke 36818
Hi there, you need to set your preferred metadata language on the emby library in library setup. Then try refreshing metadata on your series. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Luke 36818
Ok unfortunately I'm just not familiar enough with the anime plugin to really diagnose this. It is a community maintained plugin and I vaguely recall this being reported before. If you were to remove the anime plugin is tvdb data enough? If yes then you could remove it and then refresh metadata on your titles to pull it down from tvdb.
gerbly 0
I had the same problem, but after looking through the external IDs of a few of the anime, two come up as German, Proxer and AniSearch. Moving them both to the bottom of the of the list and refreshing and replacing all meta data didn't work, it still came up with German descriptions. Only unchecking them both and then refresh and replacing the meta data did it finally work and I got the English descriptions.
