Fix Spinning Wheel...how to?

How do I fix the spinning wheel. It seems like yesterday and today I cannot connect to Emby Connect. I have tried many times to select my server and I cannot connect to it. As well as Apple TV, I enter my credentials to login and the loading screen times out.

I just recently purchased Premier and I can say I'm none too happy.  I get this spinning circle constantly, in Chrome, on my Android TV, from media in my library, and especially and almost always in LiveTV.  Pretty disappointed.  Doesn't matter how I connect, or if I'm local or remote.  Trying to switch from Plex but .... not going to happen.  I wish I could get a refund.  Yeah I know I shouldn't have purchased a lifetime right off the bat but Reddit users seemed to say Emby was all stable now.  Not at all.  Anyhow I'll watch this thread for solutions.

 

Running embyserver-osx-x64-4.0.0.2

 

Really my main reason for switching was due to Plex's lousy implementation of LiveTV but even that shoddiness will at least play most of my stations some of the time.  And all my media all of the time.  And no I'm not trolling, its just a fact.

I can't at the moment because emby won't restart and I cannot reboot the machine at the moment.  Posted problem with app not quitting properly in another thread.

Hi Luke, I cannot get to logs because I cannot access the server in which I'm trying to connect. My admins tell me the server is up and running. I cannot get the ip address unfortunately to manually connect to the server. I tried logging off emby on my phone, deleted the app and re downloaded it. I logged into emby, but cannot connect to the server. Please help!

Who are your admins? Have they ensured the server can be accessed remotely?

 

Luke, yes. they logged in on their end and can connect to it. I cannot get the server

Have they verified remote access? Not local access connected directly to the server. In other words, have they tested exactly what you're trying to do?

Yes they have. They can log in with my user and password at their house but I'm not able to do it on any device I own, computer, Apple TV, iPhone.
