abescalamis 76
I wanted to suggest adding "full-screen mode" to the android mobile music player. I always connect my phone to my car to listen music, and I noticed that Emby lacks of a full screen player for music, I will post two pictures of what I mean, the pictures are just examples, that will make it easy to control emby while driving and avoid the possibility of an accident. A lot of people connects their phones to the cars to listen to music either Bluetooth or Aux cable, and this feature is needed mainly for Android mobile OS and Iphones OS, because those are the main OS devices that people connects to their cars. jamvids 37
Ooh yeah, I would like this feature. A swipe gesture across the album art for next track would be good so you don't have to look at the screen and aim for an icon. Most other music apps have this function. atomicmoon 139
With the implementation of Soundiiz, I'm trying to get back into using my personal library more as syncing my favorite platform playlists have made this a breeze! However, out of convenience and safety while on the road, I can't justify using Emby as a music player until something changes with the skip track function in the UI. Those dang buttons are too small!Either a swipe-to-next track feature, or at the very least, much larger buttons to allow safely selecting the next track. To add to this list abescalamis created, I would also like to suggest a screen stay-on feature while connected to bluetooth and/or power supply to prevent the device from turning the screen off. Similar to Spotify's "car mode" that keeps the screen on and disables a lot of the graphic UI, as well as larger navigation buttons to promote safer driving. Either for aesthetics, or safety, I would like to see these implemented in the near future. As always, thanks for your dedication to such an awesome platform and for your consideration to these suggestions!
Luke 36881
Do you have the device in landscape or portrait?
atomicmoon 139
Do you have the device in landscape or portrait? Typically landscape for simplicity, but I have some more homework to do. I just ran to get coffee and music played while on wifi, stopped streaming after song ended. I switched to spotify and when I got back home spotify quit and my Emby app began playing again lol. Not sure if it's set to wifi only on my end, but was odd. I don't wanna hijack this post with my "discoveries" so, I'll start a new post, but there were a few other hiccups that I need to flush out, but before I do that I need to know if it's a me error, or an emby issue. Often times it's a ID 10 T error on my part
Luke 36881
I don't quite understand that scenario, so i guess just open a new topic. Thanks.
