ginjaninja 533
This action https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/84611964/ResizeForMediaPosters.atn resizes to 1000x1500 Saves the file To create your own: There are tutorials on internet to create your own action group / record your own action, if you wanted to create one for backdrops. Backup your images first https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/84611964/backupmovieimages.bat (Edit to suit your environment) Backup Images First Install Resize Action (or create your own) Use explorer to generate a list of images to resize (to apply the same aspect ratio to), eg search for folder.jpg Select resultant images in Explorer and drop on Photoshop In Photoshop, choose file>automate>batch Choose your action / apply settings as per screenshot. Ok to process. then exit Caveat, Action will upscale/downscale all images to 1000x1500. Smaller files will get bigger and Larger files will get smaller/loose detail (although 1000x1500 is more than big enough, there may be a case for setting a smaller size as clients don't use this resolution). Depending on your circumstances, this could be an ancillary benefit, i.e. reducing size to what client actually use, so MB3 doesn't need to resize/performance improves (assumption-not proven) Alternatively you can use https://imageresizer.codeplex.com/downloads/get/347439 with the 'stretch to' function can be run direct from context menu. ignores smaller files (but then smaller files with incorrect aspect ratio wont be fixed). possibly not as good scaling algorithm as Photoshop.
