Guest worthington_j
I upgraded my Emby server to 4.0.0.2 and updated my Kodi add-on to 3.1.43C. I see the option to enable artwork caching but it does not appear to be working. Are you not seeing the cache option or is it not working for you? Angelblue05 4130
I believe he's referring to the Cache all artwork option which was removed at this time. It will be re-added in the near future. What makes you think enable artwork caching isn't working? Do you have your webserver enabled? Guest worthington_j
The webserver is enabled on port 8080 and is working. I can use remote control apps like Yatse from my phone without issues and the texturecache python script works just fine. The reason I believe it's not working is because I had to upgrade my addon and re-create my local DB in Kodi after the 4.0.0.2 upgrade. After all my movies/shows scan in I have about a hundred jpg images in my thumbnails folder and browsing to Movies or TV Shows takes some time to load the images. Guest worthington_j
I found my issue as to why the artwork was not caching. I typically use my advancedsettings.xml file to configure all my preferences. I removed the following lines from my xml and manually set those values in Kodi and now it's working. I'm not sure this is a big deal but I did not see this issue when I was using the stable add-on. <webserver>true</webserver> <webserverpassword></webserverpassword> <webserverport>8080</webserverport> <webserverusername></webserverusername>
