rykr 11
I think the Android tv client has this but the Roku seems to not. Any plans to support this? To really be useful a client needs instant or nearly instant 30 second skip ahead.
speechles 1911
Roku changed this behavior to align with their BIF images produced. Each press moves you 10 seconds forward so now you must press the button 3x quickly to do the same. When you press left/right it toggles into the seek bar and lets you move bit by bit to the exact spot and play. Using fast-foward and rewind goes to the seek bar and starts to immediately seek at 1x 2x 3x depending on how many presses of the button you make. We cannot change those behaviors. The seek behavior changes will/can risk Roku store rejection. Roku makes the rules it is their playground. To play in their park we must obey the rules. rykr 11
I worked with it last night and couldn't really figure it out. I pressed the left and right parts of the "wheel" and it did not skip forward and keep playing. I had to physically hit the play button again for playback to resume.
