I can only see disc art used in the Movie Box sets when using Cover Art plugin. Is disc art ever used in Emby for TV series or Music videos? I don't have the answer as to how, but I'm not sure that what you've done would be the right move. What that's doing is pushing the main content over more to the right to make room for something that really should be secondary. While I do like the idea, and find it quite interesting, as it'd be nice to utilize disc art, I do agree that the example you showed takes away from the main image.
