TimOlaf 3
I'm sure it's been asked, but I couldn't find it. Is there a feature that allows a group of tracks to be linked together so that during Shuffle play, those tracks always play as a group? Most practical example is classical pieces that often are multiple movements (tracks). I want to hear that entire piece (e.g. Symphony) before shuffling to another one. Thanks. Luke 36887
Hi, that's interesting, I've never heard of that. No we don't currently have that ability. Is there another app I can compare to for reference that does this? @@ginjaninja have you heard of this?

TimOlaf 3
Thanks for response! Apparently iTunes is capable of this feature, but I have not tried it. See link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/macmost.com/shuffling-songs-together-with-itunes-grouping.amp.html It is supposed to work this way in iTunes: pick the tracks you want to always play together during Shuffle play, and for those tracks fill in the "grouping" tag in the iTunes meta data for those tracks. Any tracks whose "grouping" tag matches exactly will be "grouped together". I believe the track order within the album containing the tracks will determine the order the group of tracks is played (they have to be in the same album). I think such a feature would be super useful, but I would like it to be easier to use than the way iTunes supposedly does it, and with fewer limitations.
