Gotham metadata changes

I know this isn't directly XBMB3C related, but it seems the most logical place to post.

Can someone research possible nfo changes in Gotham? I had read there were none, but we've had users report there are in fact changes relating to music. Something about the way artists and album artists are listed. Thanks.

Lol - I think most of us here think nfo in XBMC is so 2013.

I really have no idea.  But I am also serious - the XBMC database model is very outdated..

Maybe it is but our nfo support is one of the reasons the xbmc community likes us right now :) Hopefully someone will step up and provide the info i need.

Yes, but no music at all in my case...

As for the rest (Movies, TV, etc....) no change in Gotham to my knowledge.

Do we have specifics (from whoever complained about this)?

Maybe we could simply fix/optimize whatever isn't right for Gotham specifically...

If there is no official doc about it yet, I wouldn't jump into those changes personally... Like it was confirmed in the post, you follow existing XBMC WIKI.

Plus, Gotham is officially still beta...  I doubt it but things could still change.

If I didn't miss anything, we are only talking about the album artist which is pretty specific... If it doesn't break or change other existing tags in NFO, you could also follow what is working for this user (from what XBMC creates) I guess...

My other question is was this working in Frodo or is this a new Gotham tag? (again, I don't use Music, so I don't have those answers or NFOs to compare...)
