bremen 0 Posted December 4, 2018 Share Posted December 4, 2018 (edited) I am new to Emby. Just tired of Plex getting crappier over time. I have several Roku devices in my home. I have purchased an Emby Premier account. I first connected my Roku premier with zero issues. I tried to connect my Roku 3 and it will not connect. I have confirmed that my Roku is on the same network as my server I have tried using Emby connect and manually entering the server and port. I have tried uninstalling the channel and re-installing. I have tried using Blue Neon which also will not connect. I have tried opening the port on my router even though it is local. When I use Emby connect I get a pin, log into my account and enter the pin via the web. the Emby channel recognizes the pin and proceeds to the next screen. I select my sever and user name and then nothing. When I try to manually connect I am told it can't connect. Same with Blue neon. Any ideas? bremen 0 Posted December 4, 2018 Author Share Posted December 4, 2018 I think something was wonky on the server side. I was running into issues via web and android app. I found it odd that when selecting my server i didn't see any other users. I removed the server and started from scratch and all is well. Not a big deal since I haven't really done anything yet and was testing to see if I like it better than Plex, which as of right now I do... Thank you for the quick support. It is much appreciated.
