Hi everyone!

I have a system in my home with domiticz in a raspberry, so I can control lights, power consum, temperature, A/A.

Is there any way to integrate emby and so I can control the lights of the room or anything else?

Regards

There is a Google Assistant beta that will control Emby assuming you have your account linked w/ Emby Connect. Otherwise if your HA controller supports REST calls, you can likely get something working using the Emby API.

Perhaps I'm wrong and I have to read more... but I don't want control emby, I need that emby "says me" what it's doing: playing a movie, music, pause... to so, I can control my home

Regards

Thanks..

I'm newbie with the api... I'trying to get the state of the emby.. but or it's not so easy as I think or I'm doing something bad...

For example, if I execute:

curl -X POST "http://192.168.1.**:...**************"-H "accept: */*"

I have the output

Length Required

Can you give me an example so I can obtain the playing state?

regards!!!

I'd suggest moving from domoticz to home-assistant - they already have Emby component and much more - that's what i did and have never looked back! :-)

I suggest ignoring this, because Domoticz is where it's at :P

Finally, with the webhooks plugin I'm able to send an URL to domoticz when play/resume/stop/pause a film or a tv serie and so, domoticz can execute the corresponding action

Regards and thanks!!!

Did you make a plugin for Domoticz that's available there? If not, can you share your setup so that those of us that use Domoticz and Emby can possibly replicate it?
