csadoian 34
Hmm, for some reason Emby Theater is not showing any of my recent recordings under Live TV on my main Windows 7 computer. I run Emby Theater in Desktop mode, and I usually click on the button "Recordings" under Live TV, and that usually shows me my latest recordings. All I get is a blank screen now. I completely uninstalled Emby Theater (along with all user settings), and then re-installed it, but the problem persists. Wait, I just noticed, other buttons under Live TV are not working correctly. Clicking on Programs brings up the grid guide (as does clicking on Guide button). Recordings gives me a blank screen, while schedule appears to work ok. I can see my latest recordings further on down the page, in it's usual place. The problem is affecting the buttons under "Live TV". This wasn't happening on my tablet about 1/2 ago when I checked it, now it is. Emby Theater V3.0.5 Emby Server for Windows 3.5.3.

csadoian 34
Also (although this isn't really a bug, it's more of a suggestion/wish), there are times when I start Emby Theater it takes a LONG time for the program to actually appear. I assume maybe it's checking for and/or installing an update, but during this time there is no indication at all the program has actually launched. It's not a big deal on my desktop machine, but I do use Emby Theater for Windows (desktop version) on a couple of Windows tablets, and they aren't terribly fast machines so it's sometimes very confusing to me as to what is actually going on after I attempt to launch the program. Did my finger miss the icon or what ... sometimes it seems to take 2-3 minutes before Emby actually appears, under normal circumstances it takes only 5-10 seconds. A splash screen displayed immediately upon launch would help, and perhaps use the splash screen to inform the user you are checking for updates and/or installing an update. For those that don't like splash screens you could always make it an option in settings to turn it off.
Luke 37022
I'm pushing a fix for the recordings tab being empty, but I don't see any problem with the home screen buttons. Those all seem to be working fine in my testing.

This only happens when it is unpacking an update, which currently is generally only once every 1-2 months. Yes we need to add a splash screen in this situation. Thanks. Luke 37022
No, the button on the home screen is taking me to programs.
csadoian 34
I had to go into settings, Home Screen, under Live TV, Default screen. It was on Suggestions, so I changed it to Guide, then back to Suggestions and now when I push the "Programs" button under LIve TV it is behaving normally.
