We are getting ready to take a trip out of the country in about 2 weeks, and the GF would like to have something to watch on the trip.  Does Emby have a client that is supported on the Amazon Fire tablet?

And does it support syncing content to it from the Emby server?

Are there any catches to doing this?  Any major issues??

Thanks!

Yes you can use the Emby Android at on the Fire Tablet and yes it does support offline sync. Try it out and come back if you have any issues.

You will have to sideload the APK onto her tablet or set up and install it from Google Play. Luke has several tutorials and wikis on the support site to help. Amazon's Appstore refuses to list Emby for Android, and refuses to explain why to the developers.

Great news everyone. Emby for Android 3.3.29 is available in the Amazon App Store.

Please try it out and report your experience. Thanks !
