BuddahKat 17 Posted November 14, 2018 Share Posted November 14, 2018 Whenever I attempt to play certain trailers for movies in my library I get the following error message: "Video Unavailable: This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with account has been terminated." I assume this is an issue with the 'Trailers' plugin? as I don't have any locally downloaded trailers. While this is annoying, the real issue is that once this error appears there is no way to go back / exit from the screen. I have to restart Emby Theater for it to become functional again. I've also tested this in the Emby Android app as well as the web player and they have the same bug, i.e. inability to go back / exit the screen. Is there anyway to update the trailer so that it looks for a new place / account? If not, at the very least this is a serious bug as loss of control of the application and having to restart it to regain functionality seems like a major issue. Please advise, thanks! Luke 36997 Posted November 14, 2018 Share Posted November 14, 2018 It means that your metadata contains a link to a youtube video that no longer exists. Try refreshing metadata for that item and it will pull down new links from MovieDb. Hopefully this has been corrected on MovieDb, but if not then it won't change anything. Thanks. BuddahKat 17 Posted November 15, 2018 Author Share Posted November 15, 2018 I have a TMDb account so I removed the bad trailer from the movie and after the API refreshed Emby was able to correctly scrape it, so that's fixed. I was really more concerned about when Emby attempts to play a bad trailer and locks up. It's frustrating having to restart the program as this usually occurs when we're trying to watch a movie.
