shortcut to log out?

In WMC from the main Emby screen you just hit the back button to log out. Is there a way to quickly log out in Theater? The back button takes you to a "menu" and log out isn't even the default option. If I could reorder that menu to my liking, that would be a good improvement. If I could assign a button on my remote to log the user out that could be useful too. Maybe not as intuitive but it would have the benefit of working from any screen and would be a single button press.

 

A related improvement would be a (configurable) timeout on the login. If the user would automatically get logged out after a period of inactivity. I can kind of simulate that by having a scheduled task kill and restart Theater in the middle of the night but basing it on inactivity would be better.

There isn't a shortcut aside from going through the menu.

 

And yes a timeout is planned for hte future. Thanks.

Thanks! Hopefully a more direct means to logging out manually (e.g. reordering the menu) will be added too!

I'm using ET fullscreen in TV mode with a Logitech Remote and I have a macro defined for logout:

[Home] - short pause - [up] -

-

-

- [Enter] - short pause -

-

-

- [Enter]

 

It works in horizontal and vertical mode, no matter where you are in ET.
