So the user data is stored in library.db is it not?

so by modifying the db data we should be able to make changes in the user accounts?

Then what is with all the files located in /var/lib/emby/config/users ( various folders ) /policy.xml? if you make changes to these files nothing changes in the user account so why do we have this taking up space?

how exactly can we view the user data in the db? the table layout is a little strange.

sorry for all the questions, I'm trying to write a easier way to mass edit all users as everytime a new user is added they have access to live tv and sync among other settings we'd like to be different and editing all the users 1 by 1 multiple times ( say on update ) gets really annoying and we still don't have a option to set defaults in emby itself.

OR is there a even better method to MASS edit users that I'm missing?

The server will take the changes, but you need to edit the files with the server shutdown, then start the server after that.

mass edit all users

We plan to add bulk edit features for a future update.

The actual users are in users.db. User watch data is in library.db. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
