Audio Track Switching Issue

I'm not able to switch audio tracks when watching Live TV in Emby Theater. It seems to just default to whatever is the top of the list of tracks, i.e. if Spanish is first then it will play Spanish. Attempting to change it to English does nothing. This is a problem for me because some channels put their 'visual description' on the Spanish track, so whenever I watch certain channels I get this annoying voice over describing whats going on in the scene. It seems to be limited to Emby Theater because I can change the audio tracks just fine in the web player. I've also tried toggling the 'Play default audio track regardless of language' setting in the playback options to no avail. Please advise, thanks.

It’s been this way, pretty much forever. Sometimes it gets fixed for a week or two after someone points it out but it gets broken soon enough too

Any chance we could get an update on this issue, i.e. is it planned to be fixed? It effectively makes a large number of my channels unwatchable as for whatever reason the Spanish audio track is listed first on many of them so the audio is always either in Spanish or has the 'video descriptions'. It's quite frustrating and definitely doesn't pass the 'wife test'...

Luke, all we'd need is to be able to use # to cycle through the audio. Then we can map it to a remote button. Most of the time there's only 2, so that would be very easy.

Ah jeez! ctrl+shift+a works, lol.

It works for recordings, but not for live tv.

Yes, live TV is a real pain as some BBC programmes have the narration (for the blind) track as the first in the list and no way of switching it off. Track selection works once it becomes a completed recording.
