memetopal 2
Hi everyone, During the last weeks i have noticed Emby Server going down randomly (probably during the night). Sometimes i want to watch a movie just to find out Emby Server is inaccesible. In Synology´s Package Center it shows as "Running", so i manually have to stop and start again the application. I attach the log in case it might be useful. Thanks in advance. Log.txt
Solution Luke 36997 Posted November 9, 2018 Solution Share Posted November 9, 2018 Hi, can you try turning off the servers dlna features as well as the automatic port mapper? Then restart the server. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

memetopal 2
Hi, Came back to report that turning off DLNA and automatic port mapper, as Luke suggested, seems to have fixed the problem. Emby has been running OK since then, so thanks for the answer. Just out of curiosity, is DLNA some kind of known issue? It looks like one of the first suggested things when troubleshooting. @@solabc16 would you still need me to upload the logs? solabc16 379
Hello @@memetopal It seems to be a problem with certain systems, but the root cause is not 100% clear yet. The suspicion is the failure is triggered by devices in the local environment rather than the system itself, as otherwise identical systems will exhibit different behaviour. The logs would be useful if you could send them after re-enabling the above settings and recreating the system stopping. Best - James
