change screen Resolutions

Hi all just asking this question because just got a 4k hdr tv, so my question is this, is they any way to make emby theater change the screen resolution based on movie ie have screen at 1080p because most content is that, then when i play a 4k 2160p movie i wanted emby to change to that screen size to match movie , i know it does refresh rate change , but wanted both l, likes of kodi and mediaportal, or do i have to use a external player to do this
