New scraped Metadata not complete

Hi.

I'm using 3.5.0.1 under FreeBSD (XigmaNas) and everything was going perfectly until I had to reinstall the package and add a new Library route path.

Afterwards, the Metadata information shown for each movie (in old and new library path) only contains the container (mkv) and route. No info about audio or subtitles appear.

For movies scraped before this change, I have, as it should be, the complete Metadata sections: video, audio, subtitles, container and route. And audio streams and subtitles languages can be chosen.

I tried several times to refresh the Metadata for some of the new movies, but no change, only container and route appear...

What could be happening?

Thanks!

Hi.

I have just installed Version 3.6.0.60 and I have refreshed metadata of around 20 movies and it is the same. Media info section only contains container and path, where the old ones have also video, audio and subtitles.

Moreover, video, audio and subtitles sections at the top, where the movie summary is, do not appear:

What is happening?

Thanks!

Hi.

I followed the official instructions for a FreeBSD 11.1.x jail in XigmaNAS, but removing the previous 3.5.3.0 package and installing then the new 3.6.0.60 beta version, as you suggested.

pkg delete emby-server

pkg install mono libass fontconfig freetype2 fribidi gnutls iconv opus samba48 sqlite3 libtheora libva libvorbis webp libx264 libzvbi

pkg add -f https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/3.6.0.60/emby-server-freebsd_3.6.0.60_amd64.txz

sysrc emby_server_enable="YES"

service emby-server restart

Thanks.

As far as I know, that's those terms appear as options in jails in FreeNAS. However, I am using Nas4free (now, XigmaNAS).

What do you mean exactly?

When I do the pkg add, it takes new updated packages from FreeBSD repositories and asks for upgrading and installing new dependencies, if applicable.

Hi.

Well, in the log, it's seen that there is a problem with the libdl.so library, so ffprobe could not get the movie stream details:

Shared object "libdl.so.1" not found, required by "libgnutls.so.30"

I found that is due to a bug in FreeBSD 11.1, so that the package of libdl is wrongly built:

https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=231979

Since FreeBSD 11.1 is no longer supported, the only option was to upgrade the XigmaNAS (NAS4Free) Jail to latest FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-p. Firstly, I had to update the The Brig (N4F Jail Manager) to get rid of some mistakes and perform the upgrade by using the following manual (use Google Translator):

https://2gusia.livejournal.com/302626.html

Then, at last, I could install Emby Server BETA 3.6.0.61 in the new FreeBSD 11.2 Jail.

But, again no movie stream details were obtained and no video could be seen in Emby. I got the libx264 trouble

Shared object "libx264.so.152" not found, required by "libavcodec.so.58"

which is described in:

https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/60971-new-freenas-package-for-testing/page-14&do=findComment&comment=645240

I had to uninstall libx264-155 version and install the 152 one, instead.

Then, I could run Emby Server normally.

Hooray!!! I cannot believe it!

I confirm that I am using quarterly jails in FreeBSD. Content of /etc/pkg/FreeBSD.conf

FreeBSD: {
  url: "pkg+http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/${ABI}/quarterly",
  mirror_type: "srv",
  signature_type: "fingerprints",
  fingerprints: "/usr/share/keys/pkg",
  enabled: yes
}

So, libx264-155 version is currently being distributed in the latest quarterly FreeBSD 11.2 release.

Cheers!

P.S. Maybe, since at the end it was just a FreeBSD-related issue, you could move this thread to the FreeBSD section, where it would be much more useful.
