Hi im having major issues, have been using for months with no issues but over last few days i had few issues re channel names not loading as such i updated to latest server and all fixed

however now i cant get any live channels to play on other devices, they are playing on device with server but not my phone, tv ect

on phone it just constantly loads and on tvit now says unsupported format, i have not made any changes in my settings so what is the issue

yeah its on Shield Tv, i only had the origina 1.0 server installed as it has always just worked for me but have updated to latest build and now the issues, i think it is trying to transcode the streams while in past it just direct played. What do i need to do to play now? in transcode options it wants me to direct it to ffmpeg

i dont have this installed, what app do i need to install? or cani just allow direct play as this worked before, but i dont see any option

thanks

Paul

Okay.  You sent a log from our Android TV app.  But you are having issues with the server.

You will need to attach the server logs here for softworkz to examine.  Their location can be seen on the server dashboard.

Thanks.

ok i think this is it,

My issue is that none of my dlna devices can play live channels anymore, i can play anything i have recorded but not my live iptv

I have tried to play channels on both Samsung and lg tvs but keep getting errors not supported, i have tried to replicate this in the log but im not even sure its registering it

i was able to play live channels with easo on previous versions

thanks

how do i get that

"Web app" means just using Emby from a browser. When you're on the dashboard, just click the "house" at the left top.

Then, please try if you can play the streams from there.

Also: What kind of live tv provider do you have?

Hi thats what i did, my live tv is an m3u8 url that is provided through a proxy, this worked fine on all my dlna equipment until i updated the android server now i just get unsupported format

no because the actual iptv does not provide a url, the smoothproxy generates a url that can then be added to emby and other services

but the proxy is not the issue, it has played on all devices for months without any issues and is playing on my devices through other media players with no issues or conversion but since i updated the emby server it will not play live channels on my dlna devices saying unsupported format
