Oh boy, check this out. I have bought one so far, and I'm hoping it will help the perpetual s in the house access the network better.

And I hope I'm doing the right things when utilizing it.

Nice! Don't put it close to you rig. I had mine close, and it turns out it was causing some interference with the radio signals. So I moved it about 6ft, and I noticed some improvement.

Good to know thank you. I have also bought a Kingston 250G SSD for my OS.

I'm not sure if I'm going to try and migrate the os and files to the SSD from my spinup drive or if I am going to take both drives to the local computer shop and ask how much they charge to do something like that.

I suppose I could start from scratch, but not sure if I have the patience to do it.

In any case SSD, yeah!

I have finally reinstalled windows on my solid state drive. Really quick loading.

I had some problems with drivers on my last install and it seemed like a great time to update!

Also got my ubiquity access point working. I'm going to get a couple more when we remodel the house.

Also got a keyboard that is led! That's cool man!

Planning on getting Unifi switches?

I have seen a couple unifi racks on YouTube, and they look amazing!

But my switch has to have SFP.

My network is:

If you get the XG switch, you can buy some ConnectX-2 NICs for just a few bucks on ebay. Then you can enjoy 10Gb :D

10G tek make some decent SPF+ cables
