Volkmar 14
Hi, since the emby for kodi plugin update to version 3.1.28a my movies won't start anymore. After a period of time I get an error message appears telling that the movie is unable to start and I have to take a look in the kodi error log. (see the attached file kodi.log.txt). If I want to resume an already started movie I have started before this update, kodi complete crashes and restart. (see the attached kodi.old.log.txt) It absolutely doesn't matter if I start or resume this movies from the menu or the widget. My configuration: Z69 Android-TV box with s905 chip / 4GB RAM OS: Coreelec 8.95.3 Kodi 18 Beta 3 Skin: Embuary (Leia) 18.4.0 kodi.log.txt kodi.old.log.log.txt
highonascii 43
Have you tried updating kodi to the newest nightly build for 10-08-2018? I had issues with kodi beta 3 on pc but don't have them on the newest nightly release. Just a suggestion because my movies are all playing fine and im using emby beta 3.1.28a Edited October 8, 2018 by highonascii

Angelblue05 4130
In your old log, I see the possible issue. But in your kodi.log it doesn't even seem to trigger the add-on at all. It went straight to skipping playback. Can you confirm your dependencies are still installed and enabled? My add-ons > all. You'll have one entry for the main add-on, 3 entries for each dependency (v0.12). Keep me posted.

Hi Angelblue, Yes, I have in total 4 entries, the main entry and 3 entries for each section (movies, shows and music videos ). After your update to version 3.1.29a it works again, even the start to play the movie takes a litte bit longer than usual. But at least it work again and my kids are stopping killing me! Thank you!
Angelblue05 4130
Is it slower, do you mean compared to .27 or to stable? I am still troubleshooting this but honestly not seeing what could be making it slow yet...
Volkmar 14
Only the start of the movie (from the moment I click on "play" till the movie really start) takes longer, compared to .27. I never used the stable. In .27 this took round about 2-3 seconds, in .29 it takes round about 15-25 seconds, depends if I resume a started movie or start a new one. Resuming takes longer than starting a new one.
Angelblue05 4130
Ok thank you I will look. I still can't see what could be causing this delay. If you get the chance to provide an updated log, that would be great. Edited October 9, 2018 by Angelblue05

sualfred 677
