Fixed Emby-addon 3.1.15a series pooling and no season fanart

Hi 

I am on Server version 3.6.0.42 beta and emby for kodi 3.1.15a and series pooling do not work and no season fanart show up, but tv poster and backdrops work fine.

when i browse emby in kodi before i scan the library my show that are spread over several drives also show up as 2 different folders.

i have a show on my x. drive and the new episodes on my d drive all the new episodes do not show up if i do a save in the web server the new episode will show up as its own series instead of as a new episode in an existing series 

if i then do an update on the library the first entry will disapear so i now only have 1 episode, and then i can refresh the first and then update and they switch

Did you try doing a local database reset in Kodi to make sure?

I see the season fanart issue. But series pooling works for me.

ohh yes multiple times and in all thw variant i could think off.

also tried clean install of server and kodi, it behaves like i can have one of the folders but not both

Can you show me how you are setup? Is this using native playback mode?

Thanks for all the time you throw into this, and im sorry ive been at this this for 12 hours or so, so now im going to bed ;( 

so this is my setup.

first off, this is both native and addon playback  (i've tried everything to troubleshoot)

I got my incomming series and movies on D: and my main library on u: 

I have emby server installed on C:, and im running emby for kodi on shield

 

now i will go to bed and hope everything juist work tomorrow ;D

For season fanart, check for updates under addon settings > advanced. Then update or repair your tv library (launch the emby addon > update (or repair) libraries.

i just checked the fanart works like a charm  

but as i seem to be the only one with pooling issues i'm beginning to suspect its not so much the plugin as maybe something wrong with my server install! 

went back to stable before i went to bed yesterday and on 2 clients everything worked fine but on the shield it said my movies where no longer there and if i would like to delte it from library (this makes no sense as i could play the other files in library, and i could play the movies over smb)

wich server version do you recommend?

I think there's still a lot to work out with 3.6. If you don't have the time to troubleshoot then remain on stable, otherwise, always nice to have issues reported to be fixed. That helps everyone in the end

 

It's your decision. But glad fanart is working now.

 

I don't have issues with series pooling with my test library, but if you can't figure it out then I suggest not syncing that library and just pulling it dynamically, I think you'd be able to access your content that way. (To remove specific libraries, launch the addon > open the context menu on the library to remove > remove library from Kodi) then try to access the library and see if the content is there...

I can acces my library that way, but then i have two folders for a series with pooling enable (is this correct behaviour)?

I guess I have to go back to stable, New school starts tomorrow, but this new addon performs so much better and faster, so kudos to you
