Luke 36886
Hi, why not just run the uninstaller?
deallier 8
of course i forgot about windows uninstaller but will it uninstall emby Completely all trace of it or are there some files that remain in the system ? i never really have any problems with Emby but when i updated it to 5.3.2.0 it would not start at all so i restored it back to 3.4.1.0 and since then it plays up a bit i lose all live tv after a few days thats why i plan to do a fresh install

What are you trying to uninstall? The server, or one of the apps?
Murty 0
Hi Luke, thanks for the quick reply. You are right of course! It's just the browser app - no server installed here. Thanks!
Luke 36886
So there's nothing to install and nothing to remove. What are you trying to accomplish?
Guest AA1
Hi @@Murty, are you sure you have it installed? What are you trying to uninstall? The server, or one of the apps? Hi there, I can't seem to remove the emby server which i downloaded from the official website and i downloaded the win 10 one. I uninstalled it from the programs part in control panel but its still there. The emby icon is in my taskbar and if i click on it this is what comes up. Luke 36886
Ok I think we need to rework the uninstaller, but in the meantime, you could just delete the program folder containing the embyserver.exe executable and that should do it.

AA1 0
Right click the start menu icon -> open file location. I can still see embytray.exe in settings then select which icons appear in the taskbar. Its turned on but it doesn't show up in the taskbar.
