Brand new Emby user here and the first thing I noticed on my Android tablet is significant lag between audio and video when using BT headphones and downloaded content.  Will try a few others things and report back.

I have the same issue but i noticed that it is only with the Android for Emby. If i use the Web via my android device, the audio isnt out of sync

I, too, have audio sync issues with 3.0.21 using the built in player and bluetooth. If I use an external player, I don't have any out of sync issues. The audio is a second or so late.

Hello,

I'm glad I came across this thread because for second there, I was under the assumption it was my under-powered Android device. I've been using VLC in-place of Emby Android Player, that is, when VLC is able to locate and load my library properly.

The Bluetooth headphone delay appears fixed (3.0.24), however playing through the phone speakers is now out of sync. Grrrrrrr!

@@AdrianW are you able to reproduce this?

Im not Adrian, however, I can confirm that audio is out of sync on LAN and over LTE, for both Live TV and recorded content on the phone speaker. I am using the Pixel 2 XL.

Edit on Dec 24th: Betas 3.0.25 and 3.0.26 have since been pushed out and both are still out of sync, just an FYI.

Any update to this, the version posted to "try" this makes headphone jack audio out of sync on my phone, any fix for this yet?

Emby for Android v3.0.26

Android 8.0.0 Oreo

Moto Z Play Droid XT1635-01

I also have noticed this, tried on multiple files. Audio stream is out of sync, noticeably ahead of video stream by a fraction of a second.

One file played fine:

Other files have audio delay, whether transcoding, direct, or downloaded. Same files confirmed no delay on Web app.
