Playing a Music Album Stops After the First Track

BTW, I notice that in your suggested info, you have:

http-get:*:audio/x-ms-wma:DLNA.ORG_PN=WMAFULL,

Is that to represent the WMA Lossless format? Because no Denon AVRs support WMA Lossless, only the base WMA format...

I got the information from here.  They have compiled a list of device protocolinfo.

http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=devices_format_support

  DLNA.ORG_PN=WMAFULL is MTG_WMA_STD

OK, so I used the ProtocolInfo string as suggested earlier, and no change; playing a music album stops after one track.

When I look at the properties of the Denon as displayed in Windows, I see the following:

5422b4e3797fc_MB3DLNA02.png

I've used some of this info to set up the DLNA Profile, in particular the Identification section:

5422b562e3b62_MB3DLNA04.png

Does this look right? How would I know whether the MB3 server is using this profile with the Denon AVR?

Thanks.

Hang on, if I look in the server log, I'm seeing this:

2014-09-24 14:23:48.4608 Debug - HttpServer: HTTP GET http://192.168.178.24:8096/mediabrowser/dlna/0449d200c25eca809f4738da3de0b5d2/description.xml

Why is there "no matching device profile found"?

Right. I've edited the DLNA Profile; I removed the contents of the "Friendly Name" field in the Identification section.

Now, it looks as though the MB3 server is using the profile with the Denon AVR. It even tells me it has created a playlist of 23 items (there are 23 tracks on the chosen Album). However, it STILL stops after playing the first track.... Any ideas?

Did you name your profile "Network Audio"?  Could you post your custom profile?

Apologies for delay; the piece of wet string that is the internet in this neck of the woods has been broken for 12 hours. Here's the profile (and it is named "Network Audio"):

How about this.

Or trying it with no info    <ProtocolInfo></ProtocolInfo>

OK, tried both variants (first with no ProtocolInfo, and then with the string suggested).  Result in both cases the same; the first track in the selected album plays, and then playback stops.

Hello, anything further to report on this issue? It's still not working.

Looking at the DLNA log, I see that a Playlist is created by the Server. The thought occurs to me: can the Denon actually deal with a playlist, or does it need to have tracks sent one at a time?

I noticed that there was a Play To fix included in the latest server (3.0.5597). Unfortunately, it still hasn't fixed this issue with Play To using a Denon receiver as the DMR... Emby still doesn't work, whilst players using Microsoft's implementation of Play To in Windows do.
