Emby generated NFO duplicate fanart entries

NFO fanart

Then i'm guessing most likely due to a defect in an older version of the server you somehow have two database entries for the same image file. I wouldn't expect it to cause any problems so i wouldn't worry about it.

Doing some housekeeping/cleanup getting rid of MCM generated NFO's in favor of Emby generated.

See some odd unexpected behavior.

Why are these items being duplicated in th NFO? There are no hidden files here. To my eyes those are identical entries.

Added a mew movie. Never in Emby before. The .nfo is as expected - one entry for fanart.

Since I am going through this process of cleaning things up and not wanting to do a database rebuild I wanted to find a way to remove the the duplicate lines.

Found that this works in Notepad++:

Attached File  Duplicate Remove.jpg   57.14KB   1 downloads

I used this on "All Open Documents" and it did the trick.

Just in case others have a similar need.
