svanden 0
Tried to update to 3.5, the update failed, and so I tried to turn the app on and off, and in the process it removed emby entirely on accident. Now I cannot install emby at all, either from the netgear app store or from the deb file. I can install other apps from the netgear app store, so I am pretty sure it is just an emby thing that is going on. I have tried turning off antivirus and restarting the server, neither of which helped. Any other ideas?
Luke 37045
Hi, what happens when you try to install?
svanden 0
It gives an error message after going through most of the motions of the install process, downloading unpacking, but when it gets to installing it gives the error message "cannot install application emby-server"
alucryd 216
Could you please try installing the netgear deb via ssh so we can get more verbose logs? You can wget the deb and then run: dpkg -i <deb>
svanden 0
Sorry, I haven't been able to install via SSH (and may not be able to as SSH on my unit has always been finicky at best), but I do have a further question, my RN424 is an intel model, and the deb file has an amd tag at the end, did Emby previously release an intel and amd version of their app? And could this be the problem?
Luke 37045
No that's not the issue. I would just try installing again from the Readynas AppStore as the server has been updated there. Thanks.
yafyolipsa 0
Did you try turning on the antivirus and then reinstalling by clearing previous cache?
