After the last update 1.0.43 the playback is buffering too much and jumping a few seconds by itself. I've tested many videos all have the same issue.

I reinstalled the app and restarted the server also nothing changes.

I use a local network with LAN.  I have no issue with DLNA also it's way much faster.

Samsung model number: KS8000

Samsung firmware version: 1220

Emby client version #: 3.5.0.0

Thanks guys

Strange, haven't seen this. Have you tried restarting the TV and/or pulling the TV network connection and putting it back in?

Thank Luke for your reply.

Yes I did.

I'll reinstall the server and see.

Other devices like Android app don't have this issue.

Unfortunately, the issue is soo annoying especially with a big video size over 8GB. I tried everything possible even using a portable server and a clean library.

Thanks  :)

I have the problem with my samsung KS7000 and emby server 3.5.0.0, after downgrading the emby server to 3.4.1.0 everything is working fine.

In this topic shocker has the same problem

To be honest I think it is a coincidence that you changed versions and it made a difference.

I have tried this several times, my problem started with server 3.4.1.13-beta or 14.

After downgrading to version 3.4.1.0 the problem was gone.

When I upgrade my emby servers (linux and windows) to version 3.5.0.0 the jumping problem returns.

I can reproduce the OP's issue with Samsung KS8000 using emby Version 3.5.0.0.

Prior to the update, all local video and Live TV were direct play with never an issue

Now testing any playback will soon stop and jerk , blackout, and or crash trying to transcode.

I gave up trying to fix it and reverted back to Version 3.4.1.0, still working like a charm.

Oh, disabled auto update.

You're totally right when I downgraded the server to 3.4.1.0 the issue has gone and it works great and smooth.

Yah I have to disable the auto-update until the amazing guys solve the issue.

If you could try beta server 3.6.0.2 and let me know if that makes a difference, that would be helpful. thanks.

The algorithm to examine the mediasource is fixed with Beta server  3.6.0.2, using Samsung TV clients.

My family is happy now...lol.

Thank You!

I was also experiencing skipping on 3.5.0, I have yet been able to try out 3.6.0.2 Beta, but will report back when I can later tonight.
