sirpenetrator 0
Hello Everyone, first time user of Emby here. So, sorry right away if the question is a dumb question...I just set up my Emby Server on my Synology Nas and cached my movie folder. I'm now just checking every single movie to see if any metadata is missing or wrong etc. I changed the view of the Movie Folder to "Thumb". I noticed that for most of the movies the title is below the movie poster/thumb. But for some (maybe a handful more or less) movies the title seems to be displayed IN the poster/thumb. I already opened "Edit Metadata" on said movies but can't find any differences. Two screenshots so you see what I mean: Correct Incorrect Thanks for any advice or help! Kind Regards, Sir
Luke 37008
Hi, that's only happening because that movie doesn't have a thumb. Thumbs usually have the movie title so we're putting the text there to match that.
sirpenetrator 0
Thanks for your fast Answer, Sheldon! Would it be possible for me to make a thumb? Or just choose a picture with the movie title in it and Emby would detect that? Or is there nothing to do about that atm?

So best way to go: get/make an image with the settings given above. Then go to specific movie: Options -> Edit Images -> and add the thumb.jpg picture? Happy2Play 8242
or just put the image in with media, really depend on if you store images with media. Note primarily movies have 1000x562 and series have 500x281 but it really doesn't matter.
