risingsun 0
Hi emby team and community, I have purchased a few weeks ago a new Asus NAS AS6102T. I am using the Emby server 3.4.1.0 that I downloaded from the Asustor site. For TV shows and movies, it works great and I can get my medias showing up on plenty of streaming devices. Happy with that, I got a premiere license for a year to support you guys and see how things will be moving. Now, I really would like to be able to watch my photos with my family on TV with my Nvidia shield. And it does work when it comes to access and viewing all the pictures. However, displaying the picture and loading is taking a long time. Granted my photos are 12Mb each (using a full frame camera here ) but when I browse the photo from the Windows share on a windows client, no problem with loading so I would think the network is ok. I do check the activity monitoring app from Asus on the NAS and I can see the CPU sticking to a solid 100% usage when loading the photos... So, I suppose the process that "Streams" the photos is not optimized for the NAS or unsure what is happening actually. Any ideas or "secret" settings I could use to smooth the process a bit?? Cheers to the emby team and wishing you the best for the upcoming releases!
