Seneca2510 1
So, I have Emby Theater working fine in both 4K up to 60Hz and HD up to 120Hz, auto refresh rate switching doesn't miss a beat - but is it / should it be possible to switch resolutions as well? IIRC, in the "old" MadVR settings, you could specify combinations of both. Is there a similar configuration possible for mpv? Or is it supposed to switch resolution but not doing so, for some reason? The reason is that I'd like to have either: 1. An HD UI with extremely smooth animations, and then only switch to 4K for UHD material. 2. Alternatively, I'd also settle for a less-smooth 4K UI, but drop down to HD for HD material (I'd rather have my tv upscale HD>4K, mainly to reduce the load on the HTPC). Any ideas? Jdiesel 1114
Just had a quick look at the refreshrate script and it appears that it doesn't take resolution into consideration, only refreshrate. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/emby-theater-windows/blob/master/Emby.Theater/x64/mpv/scripts/refreshrate.lua
Seneca2510 1
Thanks! So I'm not missing something and no hidden mpv option I'm overlooking either... Can I put in a feature request?
Guest asrequested
There might be a way to make profiles to do that, but I have a feeling the refresh rate program and script would override them.
