Nrodgers1987 0
I recently moved to a newer version of windows server (Windows Server Essentials 2016). I was previously running Windows Server Essentials 2012. After installing Emby, i restored everything from a backup. My file paths did not change as all my videos are on an NAS and not on the server Emby is installed on. All my videos show up,so i tried to play some and i get "Video playback error" on every one. My initial Emby install was done about 3-4 years ago, so maybe I'm missing something? Thanks In Advanced For Any Help!

I assume you are referring to a Emby-Server folder restore not a restore via the plugin?
Nrodgers1987 0
Sorry if i was too vague. I backed all setting up with the backup plugin then i did a restore via the plug in and ran a library scan afterwards.

Nrodgers1987 0
Here are both of the logs. I did install Emby under username "NRodgers" instead of "Administrator" this time. The "NRodgers" account has domain admin rights however. ffmpeg_Log.txt ffmpeg_Log.txt
Luke 36997
I think it's unable to access your network share: \\MYBOOKLIVE\Public\Videos\TV\How i met your mother\How I Met Your Mother Season 1\How I Met Your Mother S01E21 Milk (1080p x265 Joy).m4v: Invalid argument I would check to make sure that is still reachable. Solution Luke 36997 Posted July 1, 2018 Solution Share Posted July 1, 2018 Yes I'm exactly right. Application directory: C:\Users\NRodgers\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system System.IO.IOException: The user name or password is incorrect The server is unable to access your network shares due to network authentication. So you'll need to figure that out and make sure that the server can reach those folders. A good way to test is open windows explorer from the server machine and try to browse to: \\MYBOOKLIVE\Public\Videos\TV\How i met your mother
